Wide scale delays to Royal Wharf completions

Royal Wharf News has learnt this morning of delays to the estimated completion dates of many of the blocks and townhouses that comprise Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Royal Wharf development.

The latest estimate of completion dates provided to purchasers by Ballymore on 24 August, indicates construction delays to the Admiralty Building, Anchor Building, Barrier House, Compass House, Endeavour House, Latitude House, Maritime Building, Meridian Building and a number of townhouses.

Of significant note, future residents of the ten townhouses on Rope Terrace and Nautical Drive were expecting completion to occur between September and October this year (based on the update provided by Ballymore in June), however these have now been delayed until February 2017 at the earliest.

Other signifcant delays have hit the 81 future residents of Barrier House, which was previously expected to be completed between November and December this year, but has been pushed back to between April and June next year.

Delays have also meant that expected completions of the Maritime Building, which were previously expected to occur before Christmas, have also been moved back into 2017.

No explanation for the delays has been provided by Ballymore to future residents.

Full updates to the estimated completions have been added to the individual building pages on Royal Wharf News.
