Coffee, Macarons, Haircuts and Manicures coming to Royal Wharf
Several new shops are due to open in Royal Wharf over the coming months, improving the variety of the shops and cafes at the development.
Triple Two Coffee
Triple Two Coffee have applied for a license from Newham Council to open as the Cafe in the Royal Wharf Clubhouse. Triple Two's website suggests they offer a range of food, coffee and teas, and will be looking to compete against the Starbucks established at the north-east corner of the site. The license was only applied for in September, and a decision is pending. It's therefore likely that they may not open until the new year.
CREAMS, described as a luxury tea room, sell tea, coffee, macarons, cakes and some spectacular looking milkshakes:
Creams are due to open in bottom of Echo Court at the south end of Starboard Way.
If it is to be similar to the SilverClip branch in Limehouse, they will offer a gents and ladies haircuts, treatments and colouring. According to Newham Council's planning website, SilverClip applied for a license to be able to supply alcohol to its customers, however this application was rejected. It is unclear whether SilverClip will try again.
Dream Nails are set to open shortly at Royal Wharf, offering a range of nail treatments, manicures, pedicures, waxes and more:
Dream Nails is due to open at 10 Royal Crest Avenue, at the northern-most end of Masthead House in the next few months.
